It'll be interesting to see what Pericard is like next season after a pre-season with our fitness team. I think it is a great testament to our fitness coach that we have got to this stage of the season with minimal injuries. Ok, O'brien has been in and out, but he didnt complete a full pre season, but other than that we have not had many injuries, and i don't think it is just down to luck.
We knew when Pericard came that he would be unfit, and to get match fit takes games, and I think we are now starting to learn the benefits to having a great pre-season to get your fitness levels right.
I think Pericard will prove to be a great signing, but think that this season he is likely to just be a bit part player.
Before you say it, I know Austin wasnt with us at the start of the season, but there are exceptions in every situation! |

lol @ fit!
I'm more worried about, skill, technique and ability from that guy.
He really was not impressive last night. Shockingly bad.
He got booed big time and I'm not one to really do that but I couldn't blame the fans. You sit there thinking I could do better. I understand why Danny gave him ago but he just proved to be way out his depth, maybe league.....
Still it was nice the Town team came over to clap the away support for coming down to watch, however all the supporters turned there backs on the team and walked straight out. I was even shuffled out quick and I didn't want to.
Swindon deserve a huge Boll**king from Danny. |

There was a lot wrong last night.
Amankwa started less than fit and got less fit as the game went on.
Why was it he had to grind to a halt before he was subbed?
Shows how thick a lot of footballers are as the MK left couldn't work out that they could have walked past him for the last 15 minutes he was on the field.
Morrison buckled under the pressure of being given a start in front of Greer and showed he hasn't got it mentally to make a first team place his own.
Douglas and Ferry have lost control of the middle of the 'park', something they were commanding 4 weeks ago.
Only seen him twice, but Pericard was poor on both occasion.
Billy threw in his usual handful of misses.
A lot of people seem to think that hitting the bar is an achievement!
NOW the good news.
Ward is great, I haven't seen him have a bad game yet.
He id destined for bigger things that STFC I am afraid. |
